Welcome to the Introduction

Why does the average person dislike their own photograph,
when they like everyone else’s? Does facial symmetry have
anything to do with why people like or dislike their own
photographs. The hypothesis is that because people see
themselves in the mirror everyday, they become accustomed
to how they look in a mirrored image, so when they see their
photograph, they see themselves without being mirrored, so
they look bad to themselves, therefore the majority of the
people being experimented on will choose the photograph that
has been mirrored, and not in its original form.
